EnvironmentaList 2019:

EnvironmentaList wants to have a responsible and long-term perspective in the policy that is implemented in the Student Parliament. As the name implies, the list has the environmental perspective at the bottom, but uses experience from established universities and input from scientific staff on issues where environmental concerns are not a natural framework for analysis. A more complicated world is putting pressure on universities, and it is not obvious what will be their role in the 21st century. If, on the other hand, we are to take the step into the future, then it is crucial that this is done deliberately and not overtly. EnvironmentaList is therefore the only list that takes a principled and definitive stand in the fight for academic freedom. We see this as crucial in the search for universal knowledge, and want to separate research from ideology.

The student is also central to EnvironmentaList, and we want to make the best possible arrangements for new arrivals from home and abroad. EnvironmentaList therefore wants to launch the student cup, which is an agreement where students can fill free coffee in SiS canteens on campus. After feedback from students, we also find it crucial that the university hires more student assistants. Empiry tells us that this is possible; the list has already been passed for a resolution that the university should achieve classification as an environmental lighthouse.

Along with the environment, academic freedom and student welfare, mental health is the fourth pillar of the EnvironmentaList values foundation. The SHOT survey tells us that the university has a way to go, and this takes the list seriously. What sets our approach apart from other lists, however, is EnvironmentaList's distrust of simple solutions. It is our belief that these challenges can only be met with relationships and humanity, and we therefore want to make a clear shift in the focus of the university so that this is taken seriously.

The environmentalist therefore proposes the following four points:
