As a student at UiS, your possibilities are endless! Not only are you a part of one of Norways foremost universities, you are also part of a student environment with a tremendously growing engagement that you can affect and shape.
You will discover that we have Student organizations that cover most interests. The value of being active in a student organization is very high and definitely worth looking into. Research made in 2011 by SiS shows clearly that students who get engaged have a much better time during their education, and also make the best grades. Furthermore, it shows that the industry shows a keen interest in students who have worked to gain knowledge about organizational work or in other ways shown an interest in volunteering. Being engaged shows that you are willing to take responsibility, make decisions, take initiative and work with others. This shows that you have a future as a employee in the industry.
we strongly recommend that you join one of the student organizations or one of the bar associations. We have organizations involved in humanitarian work, career options, entrepreneurial activities, media, poletics, religion as well as bar associations within most of the subjects offered by the university.
