The Enthusiasm award

The Enthusiasm award is in Norwegian calles "Begeistringsprisen"begeistringsprisen

Each year the student priest, StOr, SiS and the rectorate award a student, student organization or bar association with the enthusiasm award. This is awarded to someone who has actively contributed to the social, pulsating environment of the students at UiS. The price is awarded during UGÅ.

The price is 20 000 NOK and a trophy shaped as a ring of iron on a base, an enthusiasm.

The enthusiasm award is not a academic award, but is first and foremost meant to lift the general well-being of the students in Stavanger. The award can go to one student, a student organization or a bar association who volunteers to work for and with students. The student, organization or bar association should have made particular effort in either engagement, promoting unity, diversity, debate, satisfaction or enthusiasm. Briefly, it is a reward that goes to the people who make student life special and create enthusiasm in the student environment.
