The quality of education at UiS
• UiS should focus on the quality of the subjects they offer, instead of offering a broader range of subjects.
• The student body should be notified as early as possible with regards to changes in subjects and examination arrangements.
• All lectures at UiS should have a podcast, so the students can repeat them and learn more easily.
• Lecturers should use "clickers", to increase the diversity in their teaching
• UiS should use a reward-system for lecturers who put down a lot of effort in their teaching, for both enjoyment and skills.
• The independence of the Bachelor degree must be strengthened.
• UiS should put more focus on their students writing papers for the industry.
• The feedback on lecturers has to be changed to ensure that the students can have a real influence on the quality of the teaching received.
• There should be a Bachelors ceremony after the degrees are finished, to strengthen the student identity.
• The "Norges Bank" building should be an academic and cultural meetingplace for all students in Stavanger.
• the lecture halls should have a high standard.
A lively campus
• The Book Café should have longer opening hours to facilitate a lively campus, also in the evening.
• The new student house should have a bar with possibilities for nighttime arrangements and concerts.
• UiS should have some buildings open 24 hours in the examination period, and also open some classrooms that can be used as study halls after lectures have finished.
• There should be made plans for a low-price grocery store to be opened on campus.
A greener UiS
• Remove all copy charges that are now part of the tuition fees, and make a individual payment system for copying documents.
• Put pressure on UiS to solve the current parking issues.
• Get in place a shuttle bus arrangement between the University and Stavanger, and more departures in the busiest time of the day, so that everyone can get home.
• There should be a better system for sorting and recycling waste.
• UiS should certify themselves in Miljøfyrtårnordningen.
