Election to the UiS board

We are now looking for two student representatives and two deputy representatives for the university board. We will elect a permanent female representative and a permanent male representative, plus alternates of both sexes. This is an important and interesting board position, which will give you unique expertise and insight. You should know UiS as an organisation. You should have an interest in budgets and accounting, and be familiar with the various studies that UiS offers. It is also a great advantage to have a good political understanding and commitment to the institution's social responsibility. There can be many issues, so it is good to be able to quickly familiarize yourself with many different issues in many different ways. In this position, you are not exempt, which means that you can study alongside the position. The university board is UiS's highest body and decisions in the board have great significance for the university and for the students.

The position is remunerated in accordance with the Ministry of Education's regulations, you can find these here. The application deadline is 28 April. A digital election will then be held among all the students. The election takes place in the period 6-26 May.
