Boards and committees

FACULTY LEVEL

The fact that a council, board or committee is at faculty level means that these only operate within the faculty - what is decided in these bodies thus only applies to the relevant faculty.

One can further divide these bodies into different levels within the faculty.

The faculty board, the study portfolio committee and the employment committee are bodies that are common to the entire faculty. Decisions made in, for example, the faculty board apply to all students, employees and departments / departments at the faculty.

The Department Council, on the other hand, is a body that only has authority over a single department. A faculty often consists of several departments / departments. Decisions made here only apply to students and employees at the department in question.

The study program council follows the same recipe as the department council, but at an even lower level. Decisions made in the study program council only apply to students and employees in the relevant study program.

The faculty board is the highest body at a faculty. The students at the faculty are represented on the board via 2 student representatives.
