The Left Alliance

Venstrealliansen (VA) is a democratic socialist, feminist and environmental organization. We fight for a better everyday life for the students at UiS. We want to make it better for you as a student to be a student here in Stavanger. This includes, among other things, increasing student support, creating more student accommodation and making the university's campus a better place to study. We will then, among other things, have more sockets in the lecture halls and water dispensers available in central buildings. In previous periods, the Left Alliance has been an active voice in the Student Parliament. We want to continue with this, and therefore hope for your support to represent the students at UiS this year as well

The Liberal Alliance – battle issues for 2022

1) Cheaper services for the students and cheaper
food in the canteens and the café.
Vegetarian food should be cheaper than non-vegetarian.

2) Better study opportunities on campus. Sockets
must be available in classrooms and lecture halls. It shall be
water dispensers in the faculty buildings.

3) As a supplement to physical education shall
all teaching is recorded where possible.

4) Mental health services for the students
improve. There must be more low-threshold offers for students. The university
must be helpful for student associations and student groups to use
the university for social gatherings.
