The Election Committee

The election committee's role is to recruit and deliver recommendations of candidates to the student parliament. The election committee's members were elected at the first student parliament meeting in the spring semester and consist of Magne Bartlett (chairman), Una Ruzic and Mohammed Abdullah Hassan.

These are the positions the nomination committee will recommend candidates for:
Leader, deputy leader for education and deputy leader for the learning environment in StOr.
Two members of the control and quality committee.
The sponsor board's chairman, event deputy chairman and organizational deputy chairman.

The election committee must make a recommendation on each of the candidates, but it is the student parliament that makes the final decision. The main task of the selection committee is to interview the candidates and in other ways obtain the best possible decision-making basis for its recommendation. The election committee's recommendation and justification must be sent out no later than seven calendar days before the student parliament's election meeting.

At all institutes, the nomination committee shall strive for gender distribution and representation from all faculties.
