The working committee of StOr

Head of Store: Joachim Børlie

The nomination committee has chosen to nominate a candidate who is highly motivated for his position. The candidate has good experience with organizational work from both politics and student policy. The candidate has shown great commitment to student politics and has built good relationships in the student environment at UiS. The candidate shows tremendous knowledge in his current position and above the new position. The candidate is a person who takes responsibility and has a passion for the students. During the application and interview round we experienced the candidate as confident, humble and knowledgeable. We have the impression that the candidate has a good working spirit and will put in the work needed. In addition, the candidate is a person who places great emphasis on a good governance culture through good cooperation with the rest of the working committee. We in the nomination committee therefore have a strong belief that the candidate is a safe choice and important for the road ahead in StOr. The nomination committee has chosen to vote on Joachim Børlie as chair of the STOr.

Deputy Head of Learning Environment: Mahnoor Raja

The nomination committee has chosen to nominate a candidate for the position as deputy head of the learning environment, which has proven to be very good at building relationships in the student environment. The candidate has experience from student politics and in party politics. The candidate has shown good qualities in his representation for the university and especially as a elected representative in the municipality of Sola. The nomination committee feels that the candidate will be strong as deputy candidate and will be able to supplement a working committee with good political experience and through personal skills. The nomination committee has unanimously appointed Mahnoor Raja as deputy chair of the learning environment.

Deputy Head of Education: Philip Jamissen

The nomination committee has chosen to nominate one candidate who will be a breath of fresh air for StOr. The person has had several good experiences, among other things through the student parliament, which will come in handy in the new office. He is an independent person who knows how to get something done. He also shows that he is innovative, has courage and patience. The candidate becomes important as deputy head of education and can be a clear voice and a breath of fresh air in the working committee. The nomination committee has chosen to vote unanimously on Phillip Jamissen as deputy head of education.

Representatives to the University Board

Female Representative: Cathrine J. Sønvisen

Male representative: Vegard Valberg (missing picture)

The Nomination Committee has elected to nominate two permanent representatives to the University Board. Both candidates have previous experience with board work, and have good knowledge of what the university board is going to, and have worked with. They also have an eye for dedication and are good front figures for students. They have exemplified the students and will continue in their further work. We believe both candidates will help drive the university in the right direction. The nomination committee has unanimously elected to nominate Cathrine Sønvisen as female candidate, and Vegard Valberg as male candidate. The Nomination Committee has not chosen to recommend a product due to a lack of applications.

Control and Quality Committee

Appointed member: Ragnhild Ekren

The nomination committee has chosen to recommend the person who has shown knowledge of the student parliament and the STOr. The person is skilled, careful and always carries out his work properly. He shows persistence, potential and patience. The candidate poses strongly as a member of the control and quality committee and will be a good figure in the committee. We in the nomination committee have the belief that the candidate wants a secure support and a good partner in KK. The Nomination Committee chooses to unanimously appoint Ragnhild Ekren as a member of the KK.

The Executive Committee

President of Store: Joachim Børlie

The Election Committee has decided on a candidate who is highly motivated in his current position. The candidate has experience with political organizing in both party politics and student politics. The candidate has an inspiring spark for student politics and has built strong relationships in student communities. The candidate shows great knowledge for his current position and for the position he is elect. As a person, he is the one who takes responsibility and is committed to his constituents. While reviewing his application and through his interview, we experienced the candidate showing great humility, as safe and knowledgeable. We perceive the candidate as having a hardworking spirit and the ability to do the job at hand. In addition, the candidate shows great interest in providing a positive and cooperative work environment for the board. The election committee strongly believes that the candidate is an undisputed choice and will be important in future matters for StOr. The Election Committee unanimously decided on Joachim Børlie for the position of President of StOr.

Vice President of Learning Environment: Mahnoor Raja

The Election Committee has decided on a candidate for the position as vice president of student welfare, and has shown a strong ability to form relationships within student communities at the university. The candidate has political experience in both party and student politics. The candidate proves worthy through her representation of the university and as an elected representative in the municipality of Sola. The election committee believes she is a strong candidate and will be able to further improve StOr with her political experience and personal traits. The Election Committee has unanimously decided on Mahnoor Raja as the vice president of student welfare.

Vice President of Education: Philip Jamissen

The Election Committee has decided on a candidate, who will be a new voice on the board. Personally, he has experience through the student parliament, which will be useful in his new role. He is an independent figure who knows how to get the job done. He also tries to be creative, patient and consistent. The candidate will play an important role as the vice president for education. Especially as a strong and new voice. The Election Committee unanimously decided on Phillip Jamissen as the vice president of education.

Both the candidates have experience with different organizations in leadership roles, and have astounding knowledge of university operations. They are highly motivated and great spokesmen for all university students. They have represented student interest in the best fashion and will continue to do so. We believe both candidates will further the university in a good direction. The Election Committee has unanimously decided on Cathrine Sønvisen as the female candidate and Vegard Valberg as the male candidate for the university board. The Election Committee has chosen not to elect substitutes caused by a lack of applications.

Control and Quality Committee

Recommended member: Ragnhild Ekren

The Election Committee has decided on a candidate showing knowledge about student politics and the student organization. The candidate is skilled and careful in her work and always fulfills her duties above expectations. She proves patient, staunch and with great potential. As a member of the oversight committee she will try to be a strong and fulfilling member. The election committee believes the candidate is a stable and strong figure who will be a good partner in the oversight committee. The Election Committee unanimously decided on Ragnhild Ekren as a member of the oversight committee.
